This week’s Senior Spotlight shines on Silas Greene, who has attended the Storey County School District throughout his entire educational career. Over the past four years, Silas has been an important and valued member of the Virginia City High School football team. His commitment, determination, and leadership on the field earned him the MVP award during his senior year, a well-deserved recognition of his effort and growth as an athlete. In addition to football, Silas also spent one year playing baseball.
Outside of school, Silas enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. His interests include riding dirt bikes, camping, hiking, working out, and hanging out with his girlfriend. When reflecting on his time at VCHS, Silas says his favorite memories are the countless nights spent at practice, pushing himself to improve and become the best version of himself.
After graduation, Silas plans to enter the trades/workforce, where he hopes to build a successful career. With his future earnings, he looks forward to traveling and experiencing new places.

Congratulations Mrs. Richardson!!
