This week’s Spotlight Shines on Riley Draper. Riley has attended Storey County School District for the past ten years and is currently enrolled in the Jumpstart program, where she maintains an impressive 3.9 GPA. She has participated in softball for three years and is excited to continue playing during her senior year. Riley was also involved in choir for three years, advancing to state competition her freshman year and participating at zones her sophomore year.
Outside of school, she works in the advising office at Western Nevada Community College. In her free time, Riley enjoys spending time with friends and going on weekly double dates with her boyfriend and their friends. Riley’s favorite memory at VCHS was playing volleyball with her friends during PE in her junior year.
Looking ahead, she plans to pursue a career as a veterinarian, though she is also considering nursing.
